RECTANGULAR WAVEGUIDE SPECIFICATIONS
Note that the inside dimensions (ID) has an approximate 2:1 aspect ratio. This means that the widest dimension is about twice as large as the smaller dimension. The listed frequencies of use are generally used ranges but do not mean that the waveguide would not work higher in frequency. In general waveguide will not work lower in frequency since it is unable to propagate the lower frequency due to its internal size. Each waveguide has a cutoff frequency above which it will also not work. These cutoff frequencies are well above the listed upper limits. However, attenuation may increase substantially above the listed use frequencies.
