The photo above is the left side of the operating position. On the far left is the monitor for the yaesu Data management Unit (DMU) that is tied into the FT-2000D transceiver. The photo below shows the Yaesu equipment again along with a manual antenna tuner that currently is only used as an antenna switch. In the garage are two automatic antenna tuners connected to the long wire (rain gutter) antennas. The monitor just to the right of the Yaesu equipment is for the main station computer which is tied in to some of the radios for both control and digital modes. The monitor to the far right is for the Davis Weather Station sitting up on the MFJ antenna tuner. That monitor is sitting on the laptop the Davis system is ted into to and that is sitting on the Alpha 99 1500 watt linear amplifier. The linear amp is driven by the FT-2000D running in Class A mode at about 65 watts output. The FT-1000 Mark V runs Class AB at 200 watts out. There is also a VR-5000 receiver that I use for monitoring any number of frequencies.

The small photo is from the back yard of our Reno home looking south on a sunny morning following a light overnight snow. The larger photo is a view from the front step looking northeast before we cleared the driveway. The home is at 5500 feet ASL and about 1200 feet above downtown Reno which is off to the left of the larger picture. Nice QTH for working E Skip to the East Coast on 6 meters. Good repeater site for the valley as well.
